The entry forecourt of the OLA school is defined by its battened gates, a sculptural wall and over-arching arbour which overlooks the Brisbane City.

Many adults recognise the chunky recycled timber wall , but wonder why they are all of different heights and widths.

The eyes and minds of 8 year old school children, see why ?
The kids know ” it represents the view of the City in the distance”.
