OLHC, Our Lady Help of Christians is a well established Brisbane Catholic education Primary school located in the inner northern suburb of Hendra.

The Principal, Margeret Tomov, understood the need to provide an enclosed PE centre along with assembly and event space in conjunction with the Parish requirements. And a frame and roof for covered play had been constructed earlier as part of that long term strategy.

Margeret understood the budget was limited and understanding where that priority worked within the longer-term resources pedagogy strategy, required much better planning. After meeting with the previous planners, reviewing the overall plan and trying to reconcile with the ‘school-wide teaching pedagogies’ Margeret sought George’s input, from a knowledge of his work with the OLA primary school in the planning and delivery of resources.

George engaged with Margeret in preparing an overall strategy and masterplan in which the PE centre enclosure was a well-understood phase. C2 architecture then prepared a design and documentation to a strict budget. Then, most importantly ensured the project was built and delivered to a high standard within that budget.
